Meet Dr. Caitlin Shapiro PT, DPT
Sports Medicine, Orthopedic & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
Dr. Caitlin Shapiro is a physical therapist specializing in sports medicine, orthopedics, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Her career began in the world of sports, working with elite athletes at St. Mary’s College, the Oakland Roots SC men’s soccer team, and at UCSF, where she honed her skills in evidence-based orthopedic care.
During her own pregnancy, Caitlin experienced firsthand the physical demands of pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. That experience inspired a shift in her work, bringing the same high-level care she provided to athletes to supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Today, she combines her sports and orthopedic background with specialized pelvic floor training to help mothers return to the activities they love, pain-free and with confidence. While prenatal and postpartum care is a core focus, Caitlin also treats a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries, helping all patients move better, feel stronger, and live life to the fullest.

As a cash-based practice, we offer one-on-one, hour-long sessions in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
